Is Lying A Thing With South Jersey Democrats?

Remember that time in 2010 when the Cherry Hill mayor’s chief of staff lied and said the mayor was in town on a snowplow after a snowstorm?

I’m not making it up, the guy really lied. Here’s a snippet from The Press of Atlantic City on February 25, 2010:

Last week, Chief of Staff Dan Keashen lied to the Courier-Post about the mayor's whereabouts during an early February snowstorm, then lied by saying the mayor was on a snowplow and followed that with another lie that Platt only spent two weeks in Florida.

Keashen later said he "misspoke.

That chief of staff was rewarded for that lie. He is now the spokesman for Camden County and the Camden County Police Department (which is a county department in name only, patrolling only the City of Camden).

Just last year Camden County Republicans pointed out the spokesman lied about just becoming aware of the Arthur Barclay arrest.

It could be argued that earlier this month the Camden County spokesman lied when he told the Courier-Post:

“Where an allegation has been resolved and … charges have been dismissed in a court of law, the county … will not create a legal liability for itself and the taxpayers," Keashen said in a statement.

An allegation? The man admitted he punched his girlfriend! Since when is an admission and allegation?

Let’s call that one stretching the truth rather than a lie.

Now let’s fast forward to last week and another Democrat spokesman. This time the spokesman for Lying Bob Andrzejczak.

Andrzejczak’s campaign spokesman accused Republican candidate for state Senate Mike Testa of turning down “a real debate opportunity sponsored by the League of Women Voters.”

Turns out that was a lie! The League of Women Voters is in negotiations with the campaigns and clearly stated no one, “officially declined” a debate. From New Jersey Globe:

“The League of Women Voters of Cape May County is currently in negotiations to arrange a debate between the candidates running for Senate and Assembly in the First Legislative District. The candidates have disagreed on proposed formats, but have not officially declined our invitation,” Cape May LWV Vice President Corrinne Robinson said. “We will continue to work with both parties to provide an informative, fair, and educational candidates event that serves New Jersey’s voters.”

So, are these simply two spokesman employed by South Jersey Democrats who have trouble telling the truth? Is lying just normal for South Jersey Democrats? You decide. We’ll keep watching.

PRESS RELEASE: Maybe Nancy Pelosi Can Straighten The Camden Democrats Out

Camden County Republican Chairman invited Nancy Pelosi to come to Camden County and join him in calling for Arthur Barclay to be fired from county government. Ambrosino’s press release follows:

HADDON HEIGHTS – Rich Ambrosino, Chairman of the Camden County Republicans, said today that he was hopeful that when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visits Atlantic City for the New Jersey Democratic State Committee’s Annual Conference later this week that she will stop in Camden County and straighten her Democrats out.

“Over the past year Camden County Democrats have had a string of bad actors, all of which they were silent about.” Ambrosino explained, “There was the Barclay arrest and resignation, followed with a Haddon Township Commissioner who crashed his car into another driver, left the scene and tired to blame his wife and let’s not forget the Gloucester Township School Board member who had to resign before his first meeting because his online biography was a lie and it was discovered he went to a party wearing blackface. Camden County machine Democrats were silent on every one of these episodes.”

“I have very little doubt that Speaker Pelosi will be happy to learn that the worst of the three Camden Democrat offenders, former Assemblyman Arthur Barclay who resigned after admitting to punching his girlfriend, is still on the county payroll,” Rich Ambrosino remarked. “I think after Speaker Pelosi learns that it is her party protecting Barclay she’s going to want answers. No doubt she’s going to want to know why four self-proclaimed ‘South Jersey women leaders,’ all machine Democrats, Assemblywomen Pam Lampitt and Pat Egan Jones and Freeholders Carmen Rodriguez and Susan Shin-Angulo are all supportive of Barclay still holding a county job.”

“Speaker Pelosi has been in Camden County before. She came here to raise money for Donald Norcross. Considering Speaker Pelosi is coming to South Jersey anyway, I cordially invite her to come back to Camden County and join me in calling on the machine Democrats to fire Arthur Barclay from county government, because, as I said before and I believe the Speaker will agree, no man willing to punch a woman should be working for this county’s government,” Ambrosino said.

The Earth’s Climate Has Always Been Changing But There Is A Climate Strike Today

There’s a climate strike today! Seriously.

I didn’t know it was a thing, but kids are skipping school to strike for “action on climate change.” Apparently, kids in New York City are permitted to cut class for this ridiculousness. I was surprised to learn that Philly kids will be marked absent for cutting class to take part in this moronic strike.

This “Climate Strike” is a global thing. How did I not know about it? The answer to that is simple. I’m not an idiot. I know the earth’s climate has always been changing and always will. I learned in high school that there have been several major ice ages. I also learned there were ice ages before humans burned one single fossil fuel.

I learned about the little ice age – you know the reason why Valley Forge was so friggin cold during the Revolutionary War and the reason there was so much ice in the Delaware River when George Washington led his troops across the river to surprise the drunken Hessians at Trenton. Has anyone reading this ever seen that much ice in the Delaware? In my 50something years on this earth I haven’t.

I learned the earth started coming out of the little ice age around 1850 which I’m guessing is why it was so stinking hot by the time the battle at Gettysburg took place during our Civil War.

Many believe Medieval witch hunts were courtesy of the Little Ice Age.

Who knows? Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe people were driving cars and burning fossil fuels to create the climate change that caused all the ices ages in earth’s 4.6 billion years of existence. Maybe it was dinosaur farts, cow farts or Medieval witches.

Whatever the case, the climate has always been changing, so enjoy your stupid strike.
