Democrats Push Back On Project Veritas Video With Phony Outrage

By now readers are familiar with the Project Veritas video of Governor Phil Murphy’s senior adviser for Hispanic outreach stating that Murphy is waiting until after the election to hit us with vaccine mandates because we’re all into “My rights, my shit.”

And, readers are also probably familiar with the Democrats pushback on the issue by claiming, “physical intimidation and blatant harassment” of female campaign staffers.

I wasn’t there, so I am not going to wade into whether or not there was any actual harassment. I do not condone harassment IF it happened.

For those few readers not up to speed on the video and the pushback, Politico’s Matt Friedman has a good recap of the events in his New Jersey Playbook this morning.

My problem with all the back and forth on this issue is the Democrats and their hypocrisy. For the Democrats to pretend they are upset with any kind of “physical intimidation and blatant harassment” of female campaign staffers while still ignoring Murphy’s track record of mistreating women is ridiculous.

So, let’s take a walk down memory lane and remember Murphy’s track record of mistreating women:

  1. Phil Murphy forced young women to live with a dirty old man

  2. Team Murphy retaliated against women who complained about hostile working environment

  3. Phil Murphy paid professional women soccer players less than $15 per hour

  4. Phil Murphy forced women to live in a house that “should have been knocked down. Plastic bags for windows, sheets of cardboard for windows, comforters stuck in holes in the wall.”

  5. Phil Murphy promised Katie Brennan help writing in an email, “Hang in. We’re on it.”

And, let’s not forget Democrats had no problem with U.S. Senator Bob Menendez helping a dirty old man play sugar daddy to young women.

So, please Democrats, spare us the phony outrage because we still don’t know who hired Al Alvarez!
