Another Issue In Gloucester Twp: That Time A Guy Who Was Recently Elected To A School Board (Allegedly) Wore Blackface

Brian Reagan

As if Gloucester Township doesn’t have enough problems, a failed EMS, a township communications director who got there by way of being an Assistant Store Manager at Michael Kors in the Deptford Mall and questions about whether or not one of the newly elected members of the school board actually lived in the township at the time of his election.

Now, it turns out Brian Reagan, the new school board member who likely did not actually reside in Gloucester Township at the time he was elected, allegedly once wore blackface.

Anyone who hasn’t been living under a rock knows white guys wearing blackface has been in the news a lot lately. There have been many, many calls for these men to resign. Recently Governor Phil Murphy and U.S. Senator Cory Booker called on Virginia Governor Ralph Northam to resign after a photo of Northam wearing blackface 35 years ago surfaced.

It is clear that the photo The Bob & Steve Show has obtained of Reagan (allegedly) in blackface is less than 35 years old given that according to voter registration records he was born in 1970. Also, according to voter registration records Reagan is a registered Democrat.

It’s a safe bet Reagan did not tell his school board running mates, Carolyn Grace and Anthony Marks, about the photo of him wearing blackface. Ms. Grace is a respected member of the community and a recipient of the 2019 Camden County Freedom Medal. I’m fairly certain she would have an issue with one of her running mates having worn blackface. Mr. Marks is a respected businessman and runs Marksmen Landscaping, a company that also happens to perform snow removal for Gloucester Township. I would doubt Marks wants to be associated with one who has worn blackface in the past.

I’m sure we will have more on this story, but for now let’s just sit back and wait to see how long it takes folks like Governor Murphy, Senator Booker and Reagan’s running mates to call on him to resign. While we wait here’s a side-by-side comparison of Reagan’s (alleged) blackface photo and his campaign headshot for you to decide:

Phil Murphy Should Explain Who Made The Decision To Force Young Women Soccer Players To Live With An Elderly Man Who Repeatedly Made Them Feel Uncomfortable

Phil Murphy

Phil Murphy

Lately there have been lots of folks asking who hired Al Alvarez, the man who allegedly raped Katie Brennan. I believe Brennan. I don’t know any person who doesn’t believe her.

New Jersey Globe, InsiderNJ, NJ.com, nearly every outlet that covers politics in the state of New Jersey has asked, “Who hired Al Alvarez?”

Unfortunately, no one in Governor Murphy’s administration seems to know the answer to that question. Not even Murphy himself seems to know.

Of course, this leads to what we’ve been wondering here at The Bob & Steve Show since last August: Who in management at Phil Murphy’s professional women’s soccer team, Sky Blue FC, forced young women to “live with an elderly man who repeatedly made inappropriate comments to the players and made them feel uncomfortable?”

Murphy has been exposed for not entirely separating himself from his soccer team by the New Jersey Globe, despite placing his investments in a blind trust.

So, because Murphy obviously still has a hand in running his soccer team, even calling to try to convince one of his team’s draft picks to sign with Sky Blue FC maybe it’s time for him to start answering questions.

After he tells New Jersey who hired Al Alvarez, Murphy can then tell us who forced young women soccer players to live with an elderly man who repeatedly made inappropriate comments to the players and made them feel uncomfortable.

PRESS RELEASE: Fiocchi Calls On Andrejczak To Tell Voters Why He Supports The ‘Rain Tax’

Press Release.jpg

Republican candidate for state Senate in LD1 Sam Fiocchi called out state Senator Bob Andrzejczak on his support of the rain tax. Fiocchi’s press release follows:

VINELAND – Republican candidate for state Senate in the first legislative district, former Assemblyman Sam Fiocchi, had planned on calling on Governor Phil Murphy not to sign the recently passed ‘Rain Tax,’ but upon realizing replacement state Senator Bob Andrzejczak voted yes on the final version of the bill last week Fiocchi now wants Andrzejczak to explain to South Jerseyans why he supports the tax.

Andrzejczak almost was able to skate by on the ‘Rain Tax.’ Obviously, he couldn’t have voted on it in June of 2018 because he was not yet a state Senator and he couldn’t join the Assemblymen from his district in voting no last week because he is no longer a member of that body. Then, when push came to shove and the Senate passed the final version of the bill in a 25-11 vote, Andrzejczak was there to cast his yes vote.

“On the issue of the ‘Rain Tax’ there is no free pass for replacement state Senator Bob Andrzejczak.” Sam Fiocchi said, “This is bad law that not only taxes New Jerseyans even more, but also gives municipalities the ability to create more debt through the issuance of bonds to create stormwater utilities. Naturally, that additional debt will lead to even higher taxes in one of the highest taxed states in the nation.”

Fiocchi continued, “While I absolutely believe Phil Murphy should not sign this bad bill into law, I also think Mr. Andrzejczak needs to explain to the voters of South Jersey why he believes they should pay even more to live in New Jersey simply because it rains.”

“As a Cumberland County Freeholder and as an Assemblyman I have always stood up for South Jersey.” Fiocchi said, “Mr. Andrzejczak’s decision to vote to add even more to the cost of living in New Jersey is one of many reasons why I look forward to putting my record up against his in the upcoming election.”
