Bob Menendez And The NJ Democrats Outrage At Bob Hugin’s Past Is Fake. Here’s Why:

Sen. Bob Menendez

Sen. Bob Menendez

New Jersey Democrats have been trying to beat the crap out of Bob Hugin over his past association with the Tiger Inn eating club at Princeton.

Menendez’s campaign chairman went so far as to say Hugin has a “disdain for women.” and went on to claim, “Bob Hugin was in a position to show real leadership on advancing the causes of women and the LGBTQ community and failed.” The fact then-Congressman Menendez voted for the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996 seemed to have escaped his campaign chairman. 15 years later Menendez supported repealing the Act – in other words his views changed, but in the world of New Jersey’s Democrats only they can change their views.

Apparently, Menendez forgot his views changed too, saying to the New Jersey Globe, “He stopped women, or attempted to stop them, from joining the eating clubs of Princeton at a time when the nation made great progress, but evidently they didn’t make progress with him.”

Unfortunately for Menendez that argument makes no sense. Hugin’s Tiger Inn battles appear to have ended in 1992 (the court case in 1991) yet it was 1996 when Menendez voted to deny federal benefits to gay couples. So, in in 1991 – 1992 the nation made great progress and Hugin was wrong then why four years later did Menendez cast his vote to discriminate against gay couples? By his own logic gay couples didn’t make progress with Menendez in 1996.

Menendez is also quoted as saying, “This is not the indiscretion of a young guy who may have been misguided at the time, he was in his thirties, I was fighting for women when I was in my thirties. I wasn’t discriminating against the LGBTQ community, I was fighting for them.”

The question has to be asked, how was Menendez fighting for the LGBTQ community in his thirties when at the age of 42 he voted for the Defense of Marriage Act? This time the Senator’s argument is worse than not making sense, it appears to be untrue.

As to Menendez’s claim that he was fighting for women. Come on, Menendez’s own lawyers conceded that the senator intervened on Salomen Melgen’s behalf when it came to getting Melgen’s young girlfriends into the country. Getting young women into the country for their sugar daddy doesn’t sound like someone who has been fighting for women.

Given that Senator Menendez does have a past of voting to discriminate against gay couples and a past of aiding a sugar daddy in his efforts to bring young women into the country his, and the NJ Democrats, outrage at Bob Hugin’s past is completely fake.

88 Women Attack Hugin Over Past All-Male Eating Club But Completely Ignore Menendez Helped Get Young Women Into The Country For An Old Man

Menendez Hugin Crop.jpg

In the latest installment of left-wing hypocrisy a group of 88 women signed a letter bashing GOP senatorial candidate Bob Hugin for his past support of a Princeton University eating club that banned women. New Jersey Globe has a story here and InsiderNJ has the press release here.

Our issue with the statement released by these 88 women is that based on the fact we could find not one word of any them complaining about Senator Bob Menendez helping a 60something year old man get girlfriends in their early 20s into the United States means that while they are angry about men wanting to eat alone with men they are perfectly okay with a U.S. Senator helping a dirty old man play sugar daddy to young women.

Now, before we get more hateful email from our left-wing “fans” please remember at the time Menendez’s lawyers “conceded that the senator intervened on his pal’s behalf” when it came to the young women getting into the country. So, please spare us the he's innocent garbage!

Yes, Menendez’s buddy Salomen Melgen could be labeled as a sugar daddy. According to CNN Melgen offered to fund graduate school for Girlfriend 1, something a sugar daddy does. Girlfriend 2 was known to Menendez as Melgen’s girlfriend.

As far as we’re concerned, if you had no problem with, or failed to show outrage about Menendez helping a married and apparently dirty old man get his young girlfriends into the country and you have a problem with Hugin having wanted to eat dinner with only men almost 30 years ago you are a giant hypocrite.

The “Baby Trump” Balloon Guy Wants Us To Feel Sorry For Him

Based on some news reports some guy I had never heard of, Didier Jimenez-Castro, wants people to feel sorry for him. His feelings changed quickly given the fact he was happily giving interviews to any reporter who would listen when he and some other person created the “Fund To Bring Baby Trump To America” GoFundMe page.

Apparently, Mr. Jimenez-Castro is upset that some Trump supporters “have been calling and emailing his workplace intending to have him fired.”

What did he expect? Folks on the left side of the aisle have used this tactic for years. If you do or say something they don’t like they go straight to your job. I know this to be true from experience, like that time in New Mexico, when on my personal time and not in my role as the executive director of a county GOP organization, I referred to a young left-wing paid political operative as a “radical bitch.” Was I wrong for using that word? That depends on your point of view but I did apologize and still folks on the left flooded the office with phone calls and emails, I was suspended without pay, forced to take a social media etiquette course paid for out of my own pocket and then, six weeks after the fact I returned to work only for the calls to the office to resume. There were so many calls there was no way I could continue with my job and here I am in exile in my home state of NJ. The progressive Democrat who led the charge to get me fired is now a member of city council in Albuquerque.

Even now, people have called the radio station to complain that The Bob & Steve Show shouldn’t be on the air. It’s the way the left operates.

Look at the way the left treats members of the Trump administration when they do simple things, like go out to eat.

The guy Jimenez-Castro set up the GoFundMe page with is a member of a group of regular Trump protestors. Of course, people from the other side of the argument are going to respond exactly like your side does.

Do I think it’s right to mess with someone’s job? No, of course not. But, when the left has been doing this for years, even decades, you cannot blame it on Trump supporters. In fact, the only people to blame are those who sat back and let the left get away with it for years.

No, Mr. Jimenez-Castro you have zero right to whine that people tried to get you fired, especially after you spent days bragging to the press about the stupid balloon coming to America. You, and others on the left, sat back and did nothing when others attacked the jobs of folks on the right. You are now reaping what folks on your side of the aisle have sown.
